Project Goal
Beam is the operator of the Creative Science Schools across UAE namely International School of Creative Science in Sharjah and Dubai, and American School of Creative Science in Sharjah and Dubai. In 2019, I have been asked to provide creative translation services. The project included translating four Beam-owned websites into Arabic after their unsatisfying experience of their website translation. The goal of this project was to translate the four Beam websites from English into Arabic providing the client’s target audience with relevant and meaningful information. We also wanted to convey the same brand image as the existing English sites.
My Role
I kicked off the project with a comprehensive keyword analysis to ensure we were using the correct language when translating the text. I then created a list of Arabic keywords that matched the target audience’s search criteria. This approach helped us to streamline the translation process and ensure all content was consistent across all four sites. Upon completion of the project, we provided our translated copy to Beam for review. Feedback was positive.
